It's been awhile

Wow, it's been quite some time.  Since my last post, we have been transferred with the Navy to a new location.  Not nearly as pretty as where we came from.  I have managed to get a few pictures. Here they are.

Here are a few pictures I have taken this past week of Gracie.  We got her hair cut for school and I was looking at her realizing that she is growing up so fast.  I wanted to take some pictures of her to capture that little girl in her still.

Camera Fun

I have been acquiring a few new accessories for my camera and received my macro diopters in the mail yesterday.  I could hardly wait to get outside today and play around with them.  This is my first attempt and I realize that I have some practicing to do, but I wanted to share some of my firsts.

Summer Vacation in Bend

Well, it has been awhile since I last posted something.  We were on vacation in Bend, OR.  What a fun time we had with the family.  Here are a few pictures of our fun times.

Great weekend!

I had a wonderful weekend spent with some family.  I got to see my Aunt Penney & Uncle Al and spent time with them in Seattle for a little sight seeing.  Then, I was able to attend my cousin Seth's wedding.  What a special girl he married.  I also got to see some more Demarest family that I haven't seen in such a long time.  It was so good to see everyone.  Love you all!

Gracie's 8th Birthday

Happy Birthday to my Gracie baby!  What a beautiful little girl she is.  We had a wonderful day celebrating her birthday with her Grandma Estelle.  Our day started with a cloudy, drizzly trip to the beach in Port Townsend, but when we arrived, the clouds parted and out popped the sun to make a perfect afternoon on the beach!  We ended our day with a visit to Red Robin for a birthday dinner.  Our birthday celebrations will continue on a later day with a shopping trip and a birthday cake.  We had a good day with the family and enjoyed each other's company.  WE LOVE YOU GRACIE!

What a weekend!

Wow! What a great weekend we all had.  It all started with disappointment thinking that we were not going to be able to go to Portland to visit Rock's mom.  Well we didn't get to go, but she came to us!  Before she got here, I was headed off to Seattle with my friend Jess!  We were headed to the city to snap as many pictures as we could.  We got some ok shots, but decided to head on over to the Ballard Locks and a little garden in the same location.  Got some good shots there.

The next day my mother in law and I headed to the Bloedel Reserve on Bainbridge Island.  That place was absolutely beautiful!
